Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَأُولِي الْأَمْرِ مِنكُمْ
(Qur’ān 04:59)
“Ya Ayyuha l-Lladheena Aamanu Aṭiū’ Llāha wa aṭiū’ r-Rasūla wa Ūli l-‘Amri minkum“
“O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you.” Ṣadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm.
Obey Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, obey our Prophet ﷺ and obey Ulī l-‘Amr, those in authority too. Ulī l-‘Amr are the government, those who govern the country. He ﷻ says, obey those who govern the Muslims. If not, you would be opposing the order of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. When an order is given, it is necessary to obey them. It is an order.
Sometimes Ulī l-‘Amr are good, and sometimes, may Allāh ﷻ protect us, they are not good. But obey them all so that you don’t go astray from the way. Sometimes it is a test, sometimes it is beneficence. Therefore, when it is beneficence, a person should know its value. A person who knows the value is always an accepted person.
For Whom is he accepted? For Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. A person who is acceptable for Allāh ﷻ is good and his end is good. It is always good for him. If there is a person whom Allāh ﷻ does not love, then everything can be his, the whole world can be his, tenfold of this world can be his, nothing will benefit him. Because his end will not be good. We say, may Allāh ﷻ make our affairs’ end be good.
That’s why, we should thank Allāh ﷻ for giving us these blessings. In everything, Allāh ﷻ has given everyone a grant, a specialty. Everyone should mind their own business. They should judge what they know. When you know something right saying, “It’s like this and like that,” it’s often wrong. Not everything is as it seems. There is the unseen part. May Allāh ﷻ protect us.
We thank Allāh ﷻ, according to our intention, for He ﷻ granted us this favor. He ﷻ allowed us to worship Allāh ﷻ. He ﷻ hadn’t destined us to worship other things. Allāh ﷻ destined us to be in this way. Therefore, however that way is, we must look at it, keep on it and thank Allāh ﷻ. People of this time have shayṭān mounted on their heads. They do not like anything. They do not know any goodness.
Whatever you do, they consider you bad. They will say that whatever you do is not good. That is not good. Ingratitude is not good. It is something that Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla does not like. What Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla loves is to make shukr and praise Him ﷻ for the blessings of He ﷻ has given. May Allāh ﷻ make us from those who make shukr and praise Him ﷻ. Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq.
Al-Fatiha.
