Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm

AlhamduliLlah.
وَلِلَّهِ عَلَى النَّاسِ حِجُّ الْبَيْتِ مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ إِلَيْهِ سَبِيلًا
(Qur’ān 03:97)
“Wa li-Llāhi a’la n-nāsi hijju l-bayti man i-statā’a ‘ilayhi sabīlā”
“And [due] to Allah from the people is a pilgrimage to the House (Ka’bah) – those who can afford the journey.” Ṣadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm.
Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla ordered ḥajj for people. Those who can go, whomever Allāh ﷻ gives the opportunity, they go. It also happens that someone wants to go but is obstructed. But shukr to Allāh ﷻ, who is destined goes.
Therefore, thanks be to Allāh ﷻ, endless thanks be to Him ﷻ. Shukr to Allāh ﷻ, we were destined again to go this year. We went and arrived in the evening. May Allāh ﷻ accept it. May Allāh ﷻ be pleased with us all. May those who haven’t gone go, in shā’a Llāh.
Many went. Their intention was to fulfill the order of Allāh ﷻ. Their ḥajj is accepted, in shā’a Llāh. Because there were some who faced an obstacle on the way and weren’t able to go. Their reward is also great. They followed the way of our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam.
Our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam intended to perform ḥajj and then turned back when they could not enter. Then, Allāh ﷻ granted our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, and his ﷺ ḥajj was Ḥajj ul-Akbar. It is the Great Ḥajj when Arafat comes on a Friday.
Therefore, for those who cannot go, Allāh ﷻ will surely give them according to their intention. We were granted it. It is Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla’s will. We had no intention. But even though we had no intention, we were destined later on and we went, shukr to Allāh ﷻ. Ours is now considered a nāfilah ḥajj. When it is destined, you go. When it is not destined, you can strive and work as much as you want, you won’t go.
A year before our first ḥajj, we ran here and there trying to go to ḥajj, but it did not happen that year. We went the next year. In shā’a Llāh may those who intended be granted to go. May Allāh ﷻ make it destined. May Allāh ﷻ complete it, in shā’a Llāh.
Now many went but couldn’t perform ḥajj and were turned back. The ḥajjīs who were turned back were more than those who became ḥajjis. Allāh ﷻ is Al-Karīm. His ﷻ Generosity is endless. Their ḥajj was accepted, in shā’a Llāh.
May Allāh ﷻ perpetuate His ﷻ blessings. Shukr to Allāh ﷻ. We must make shukr. It is a great blessing, it is a great virtue to go to that place. Visiting the house of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla and the surroundings of our Holy Prophet ﷺ, and returning is one of the greatest rewards in dunyā, one of the greatest blessings. We must know its value. And of course, going and returning without appreciating it is not good either.
May Allāh ﷻ make us among those who know their value. Shukr to Allāh ﷻ for with shukr blessings increase. Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq.
Al-Fatiha.
